Welcome to 1st St Michael's Mead Scout Group

1st St Michael’s Mead Scout Group has been part of the community since 1998. It was founded by two mums who were keen to give their children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment.

The group currently provides activities for children aged 6 to 14, but we need your help to grow and offer even more opportunities for the children of St Michael’s Mead and the wider local area.

From February 2026, we launch the newest section of our Scouting family — Squirrels. This section is for children aged 4–6 and will offer 45 minutes of skill-building, fun adventures each week. Sessions will take place at the St Michael's Mead Community Centre, alongside all our other sections.
